Otterburn Festival

The 2010 Otterburn Festival was a great success with events throughout the weekend. These included the Flying Gunners Motorcycle Display Team, Vintage Vehicle Displays, Falconry Days Birds of Prey, Northumberland Canine Centre Dog Training Demonstrations and the 202 Squadron Search and Rescue Helicopter.

The 2008 Otterburn Festival began with the traditional road run, with the vintage vehicles going on a run up to the military ranges. Throughout the weekend the crowds were entertained by a range of show ring events. The weekend culminated with the Royal Air Force Parachute Display Team parachuting into the event ring.

In 2009 we celebrated the tenth Otterburn Festival in style with The Red Arrows performing their full aerial display on the Sunday morning. This was a fantastic crowd pleaser and combined with other attractions made for a memorable weekend. We also had an impressive flyover by the Battle of Britain Memorial flights Dakota. The show ring was busy all weekend with outstanding displays from the Royal Marine Commando Reserves, Falconry Days Birds of Prey flying demonstration, a dog agility display by the Northumberland Canine Centre and of course the displays of vintage vehicles.
