Otterburn Festival
Otterburn Festival, Northumberland
Otterburn Village Festival is a new venture which will be totally run by volunteers with the hope that enough proceeds will be made so donations can be given to "The Great North Air Ambulance" and Help for Heroes". It will be a two day enent on the 14th & 15th July 2012.
It will be held on the old football field in the centre of Otterburn and another field will be available for car parking.There will be an arena with ongoing entertainment on both days as well as craft and trade stands and food outlets. Also displayed will be vintage cars, tractors, commercials, motorbikes and stationary engines. We are also planning on having activities aspecially for children.
Children from Otterburn School have already got into the spirit by entering a competition to design our logo and it is hoped many more people will offer help as we need volunteers both beforehand and during the event.
