The 11th Otterburn Festival was held on the 17th and 18th July 2010. Originally a small country show of farming machinery and tractors the Otterburn Festival has grown and grown and is now one of the highlights of the year in the Rede Valley.

Throughout the weekend there was lots for all the family to see and do. Visitors enjoyed the vintage vehicle parade, including tractors, steam engines, buses, bikes and cars. The displays throughout the weekend in the show ring were spectacular and kept the crowds entertained. Despite a few showers spirits were not dampened and visitors enjoyed a great day out in beautiful Northumberland. The Otterburn Festival is truly an event for all the family with a wide range of childrens activities.

The proceeds from the 2010 Otterburn Festival will be divided equally between The Great North Air Ambulance Appeal and Help for Heroes.

Over the past ten years proceeds from the Otterburn Festival have been donated to The Great North Air Ambulance, a service that is a lifeline to those living in rural Northumberland. So far the Otterburn Festival has raised a total of over £80,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance.
